Slaven Bilic has no any intetion of leaving West Ham

Bilic finds himself under mounting pressure at the London Stadium after a 3-0 defeat to newly-promoted Brighton on Friday left the club in 16th place in the Premier League.

The Hammers are now only above the relegation places on goal difference and both Bilic and his players were subjected to boos by large sections of the home support throughout the defeat to the Seagulls.

"[I am] never, never, never walking away. I never walked away in my life," Bilic said.
"It is my job and a job I like to do especially in a place that I feel, after my hometown, is like few other places, you are treated special. I played here and all that.

"Do I need it? Let's not be that, how can I say, that black. It is a great job."

Two of the clubs below West Ham in the Premier League have already sacked their managers since the start of the campaign, with Frank de Boer and Ronald Koeman paying the price at Crystal Palace and Everton respectively.

Bilic admits he could well be the next name to go but insists the pressure of his current situation is providing him added motivation to improve results at West Ham.

"You ask me about Koeman, there are always three, four, five managers in those positions and I'm definitely one of them," Bilic said.

"Does it make me lose my focus? No, it gives you even more. I never gave up in my career, no matter in which way of life, as a parent, as a friend, as a manager.

"That's my biggest strength, to be strong in hard times. Now I'm having a hard time, yes I am. That doesn't scare me."
